Chapel Update

(Faith & Victory : November 2002)

I am thankful to report that God has blessed in a very special way concerning the building project in Msikita Village in Malawi. I traveled to Malawi last March and set about ordering supplies and contracting a builder to build a much needed chapel in the village for the purpose of weekly and national meetings.

I was unable to stay and see the project through, but I have been updated monthly by Bro. Failos Namaozongo. The building progressed without difficulty and, as seen in the photos, they now have a very nice facility. My heart rejoices that the funds for this project were used properly and judiciously and that the building is now complete. Let us pray that the chapel will always be used in the furtherance of the kingdom of God and that the Holy Spirit will continue to lead and direct the saints in Malawi.

On behalf of the saints in Malawi and myself, I want to thank each one who contributed to this worthwhile effort. In the beginning, there was a large deficit for this project, but the need has been met. May God bless each of you that sacrificed to see this project completed. We give all glory to God....

Your brother in the Lord, -Michael Smith
