Palm Sunday:

I am glad to write you that we had a blessed Palm Sunday meeting. I am sending some pictures of this meeting. We started worship service at 9:30 a.m.  Bro. H led in prayer to start the worship service and reading the passage of the Gospel from Matthews 21:1-11 about Jesus coming into Jerusalem with palms being strewn in the way.

Then we spent 1 hour and 15 minutes in worship, singing Psalms and praise songs. Four people led in prayer before the Lord King our Savior Jesus and our heavenly Father God almighty!

The message was on the subject: JESUS Is Worthy of Reverence.

If we study the book Acts we read that the church of first century and the disciples of Jesus called Jesus by the name LORD. The meaning of the word LORD is Master. As we know that the church of first century in was suffering much persecution and trouble because they called Jesus the Lord. The people of king Caesar accepted Caesar as their Lord. This created a conflict for the Christians.

So Jesus is the LORD. The Book of Revelation tells us that HE is Lord of the LORDS, the king of KINGS. So HE is worthy of reverence!!!

According to Hebrew 2:11 ” For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren.”  It is such a beautiful and comfortable relation having Jesus love us as elder brother because HE said, “HE is not ashamed to call them brethren” So HE is worthy of reverence!!!

And we look in Hebrew 4:15. ” For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.” We feel much comfort when we know that He is our an high priest,  For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. And Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.  When we are in suffering and when we are in temptations and when are in any problem HE feels our feelings and pains and HE helps us in our sufferings, temptations and in our sickness and problems. And comes to help us, to give us strength and cure us. As HE has a promise with us. “JESUS says, “I will be with you always.   So HE is worthy of reverence!!!

And written in Hebrew 7:25. “Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.” We learn from this beautiful verse that HE is our Intercessor. When we fall in sin. When we trapped in our own temptations and we have a way to come before the LORD and confess our sin. And then our LORD Jesus intercessor for us before God Father. And we have received forgiveness. So HE is worthy of reverence!!!

And there is another beautiful Truth in John 15: 14-15 ” Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.” We can share with our LORD all problems, all sorrows, every sin, every weakness and every sickness. Therefore The Lord Jesus is our Best and Much True Friend, So HE is worthy of reverence!!

Good Friday:

Praise God! During the Good Friday Meeting  a few people have found repentance and have come to faith in Christ and we hope they will be being baptized soon in coming weeks. We practiced feet washing and the Lord’s supper and also visited two widows.

There is need to cook lunch because the meeting will be some long so there is 15,000 rupees for cost of rice and chicken and 2500 rupees for tent service. And thanked God that the lord provide money and we spent to buying bricks 1 thousand and 2 cements bag and sand and spent 7000 rupees and there need funds 21,000 rupees to buying marbles tiles. Easter Sunday:

Hallelujah! We Rejoice and Praise for Him!! HE is Risen indeed!

I am glad to write you that we have had a safe and blessed Resurrection Sunday meeting. The prayers and singing was wonderful and the presence of the Lord and His anointing was felt.

We spent 45 minutes in singing and prayer followed by the Gospel message. Bro. H read the following scripture from Matthew’s gospel. “In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre. And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it. His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow: And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men. And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you. And they departed quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy; and did run to bring his disciples word. And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him. Then said Jesus unto them, Be not afraid: go tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, and there shall they see me.”

Philippians:3:10-11 “That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.”

The Gospel of Jesus tells us that when we come to faith in Jesus our Lord and we become child of God, then we go through an experience of sufferings, temptation really like unto Jesus as he faced many sufferings, temptation in His life.

And when we have being baptized in Jesus and announce that Jesus Christ has died for us and HE buried and HE Risen from the dead. As well after being new creation in Christ we have to leave behind our past things of life. And we get start of new life and we have become new creature in Jesus. And it is sign that we have a relationship to the Lord our spiritual Groom, who is Jesus. Apostle Paul says that we face the death every day. And we have experience of sufferings time to time but the great helper the Holy Spirit to help us to overcome the sufferings, temptations. And we know when any person comes to faith in Jesus; he/she must face her/his faith’s temptation and suffering.

And thanks to the Lord for His presence and anointing in the meeting. There were many new people who came to the chapel for the Resurrection Sunday meeting. And both sides of chapel, there were people sitting. And the congregation received the blessings with the truth by Gospel message. And at the end of the Gospel message, I have prayed for the congregation and children and for all of you in Christ. And at end the meeting, we have Lord’s Prayer and bless the congregation with blessings of Word.   Hallelujah! Praise and Rejoice in Him!! Christ is Risen!

May God bless you and all of you saints to church of God with the power, which power the Lord Jesus RISEN from the death!! Amen

And after the worship service, we had a beautiful 20 minute session for children; they have performed the story of Jesus’s death and resurrection.  You are in our thoughts and prayers continue. God loves so much you! He gave sacrificed Himself for us on the Cross to give us power and eternity.

In Christ,
