Hope & Service
College Scholarship Fund
The Hope and Service Scholarship provides orphan graduates from Huruma Children’s Home with the opportunity to further their education through technical training or college studies. This scholarship offers hope by opening doors that would otherwise remain closed and equips students with practical, marketable skills.
Graduates who receive this scholarship commit to return and serve at Huruma, giving back to the orphanage that invested in their lives. Through this program, education becomes a pathway to service, stability, and long-term impact.
Due to rising education costs and limited funding, we were unable to accept new applicants this year. There are currently 8 students enrolled, and our present focus is to help these students finish their degrees. At this time, their educational and living expenses are not fully covered, and support has been drawn from Huruma’s operating funds to help them continue.
Donations of any amount to the Hope and Service Scholarship Fund are greatly appreciated. 100% of every gift goes directly toward the education and personal upkeep of these students, helping them complete their studies and prepare to serve others.
