Who Will Heed the ‘Macedonian Call’?
(Faith & Victory: April 1963)
The above picture shows a class of children to whom Bro. B. U. Etuk, Church of God minister in West Africa, has handed copies of “The Beautiful Way” paper. The African people are crying for the gospel, and it is a good work for God to get the truth planted in the tender hearts of the children. The false cults of Jehovah Witnesses and Communism are flooding that country with their false doctrines, working hard to poison the hearts of the young people and others. We certainly should be doing all we can for God in getting the truth established in their hearts and minds. We are anxious to get an established saint minister from this country over there to help the good work along, and Bro. Etuk is earnestly pleading for missionaries to come over and help him in the work of building up and getting Church of God congregations established and settled in God so they can reach out into other ripe fields in that country. Let us pray with that end in view and give of our substance to feed their hungry souls on the Bread of Life.
(Faith & Victory : December 1963)
In a recent letter from Bro. B. U. Etuk, native missionary in Nigeria, Africa, he requests prayer of the church in the United States for their steadfastness in the spread of the gospel in Nigeria. Again he appeals for a resident missionary from the church here. Who will hear and heed this “Macedonian call”? Could it be that the Lord cannot find one consecrated and qualified man?
